Super Quick Thinking Made Me Appear To Be The Hero Once When My Boss Called Me Straight To His Office On The Top Floor
And so the work day started with me racing all over struggling to get to my job on time. A few mornings are definitely more challenging as compared to others. Thank goodness the commuter bus was late so I did not miss it and I was only one or two minutes late to my workplace.
The past few days I was arranging a San Francisco yacht rental special birthday social gathering with Yachtsf.com. We are organizing on having approximately 140 close friends on a luxury yacht for 4 hours of hanging around with a DJ, snack food along with a full bar. It isn't really as high-priced as I had imagined. So now I am overdue for my work and the moment I sit down I receive a phone call from the big supervisor to come straight into his large office. I am certainly worried that I am in serious trouble for being tardy.
My chairman tells me that the executive staff from headquarters is flying out in order to take a look at our business and he asks me if I have any very good night-life suggestions. I promptly tell him about a San Francisco yacht charter. He likes the idea of taking the executive team out on the bay for great food and cocktails. He asks me to work on it and return to him by midday. I did not point out that I had already performed all of the homework on company time in the last day or two.

We went on the San Francisco dinner cruise and the staff and my chairman had a wonderful time. They took photographs of the terrific sights and joked around. The meal was remarkable and dessert was possibly even better (I have a massive sweet tooth). Soon after dinner the DJ spun dancing music and everybody danced with their wives or girlfriends and pretty soon the old locomotion was under way. It was riotous and a remarkable way for our company to get to know the corporate folks.
It was such a success that several months afterwards my employer called me into his fancy office and offered me a promotion and a raise. I'm now responsible for all company parties for the west coast offices. We've arranged a few more parties with the aid of Yachtsf.com and each one one was wonderful.
