Money Gift Tree - A Fun And Ingenious Gift Which Is Sure To Please

When I was little, my father always informed me that money does not grow on trees. He must've said this to me at least once per week - whenever I attempted to request something. As I began to grow up, I realized that he was right. However, for my 30th birthday, I got a touch of a kick out of proving him to be wrong. My husband decided that I deserved a shopping spree and as opposed to getting me a present card, he took a much more creative approach. He bought a tiny little tree and planted it in a beautiful pot. He painted dollar bill signs all over the pot and made it look extremely special. On the branches, he took fishing wire and strung up tiny little letters which were written on small blocks. All the letters spelled out Happy Birthday. The best part was that each of the small blocks had holes in the top which he used to tie the fishing line for hanging on the branches. He took lots of time to make little scrolls to also place into the holes. Each scroll had a dollar amount written on it. After I was done opening all the scrolls, in addition to melting from the originality he had shown, my very own money tree had given me five hundred dollars for a shopping spree - even though I most likely should have applied the money to my credit card debt! That credit card debt, as all credit card debt tends to do, just keeps growing unless you pay it down in chunks.

Everybody at my party believed that it was the most wonderful and distinctive gift and idea that they'd ever seen. He could have just given me the cash or a gift card, but he spent a great deal of time in making that money tree. If you want to know the truth, that cash tree was the best gift that I've ever been given. I still have it sitting in my house, though it has grown an awful lot over the years. Every once in while, when he gets a bonus and thinks that I deserve to purchase something for myself, he will turn it back into a money tree and decorate it with some bills.

I have seen a lot of people give a cash tree as a gift for different occasions. Most of those individuals spend additional money just to have cash decorate a tree. With some time and a small amount of your very own ingenuity, you can make your own money tree. Of course, in today's society, a lot of people just don't have enough time or let themselves take the time. So, if you want to give a cash tree as a gift, you can find some magnificent ones that companies will personalize for you. In fact, if you can think of a special reason to give one to someone else, they can make it possible.

Sure, some individuals think that giving cash as a gift is impersonal. Maybe it is. However, who doesn't appreciate getting cash as a gift? You can be boring and place it inside of a card. Or, you can be imaginative and score some points by presenting the recipient with a money tree. I promise they will smile a lot brighter than if you merely handed them cash. Not to mention the fact that they will probably always remember such a special gift, even years later.
